‘A Hero’ to kick off production next Persian year

The pre-production of Asghar Farhadi’s ‘A Hero’ is to kick off next Persian New Year.

The public relations of the movie announced that the cast lineup has not been decided yet.

The crew of ‘A Hero’ will also be announced next year.

Plot details for the film have been kept under wraps for the time being. However, the drama is reported to be suspenseful and that the director will be working with well known Iranian actors who have not worked with him before. 

Farhadi is producing the film together with Alexandre Mallet-Guy of Memento Films, which has made Farhadi’s last three films. 

Paris-based Memento Films Distribution launched ‘A Hero’ world sales at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin, where it was considered to be among the most prized arthouse projects in the market.
